Interloper is just a fancy word for spammer. You can identify them on most message boards by the fact that their posts have nothing to do with the OP and usually contain links begging the innocent to follow.

There is no interaction with a spammer. Thus, there is no value in letting them "live".

It's called simple courtesy, a term you're obviously not familiar with, w2. My "announcing it" early -- for all to see -- saves other regulars from unknowingly, repeatedly doing the same, thus wasting their time while bombarding our techie guru maintenance man, Joe, with "please vaporize" requests when only one would quickly turn the trick.

But thanks, w2. I have learned my lesson: Henceforth, I shall merely notify, through back-door channels, the site's techie maintainer, Joe, to nuke the deranged interloper(s)' ... masterpieces. I get up pretty early each morning. It's just my nature. So I hope most all the regulars have read this post and know I'll always be happy and feel duty-bound to start proceedings to abolish any obstreperous dullard who posts his/her unwelcome claptrap on, and clutters up, our site. That way, he/she AND you will never know who ratted.

Someday when you're off somewhere, or maybe late in the evening when you're tossing fitfully in your sleep, I plan to slip into your abode* -- uninvited -- and plaster every wall with wallpaper that contains every initial post and reply I've ever posted in 15 years here, all in 72-point bold, colors hideous.

Surely you'll not protest.
